Ayurveda is an ancient and oldest system of medicine surviving in the world Ayurveda is the upaveda of Atharvana veda among the chaturvedas. It is the science which guides us how to live a healthy and happy life among the mankind.

The philosophy of Ayurveda teaches a series of conceptual systems characterized by balance and disorder, health and illness. It teaches that a person’s mental, emotional and spiritual being are all interconnected and any kind of imbalance between them results in health disorder and diseases. Therefore, to be healthy, harmony must exist between the purpose for healing thoughts, feelings and physical action.
According to Ayurveda, each one of us has a unique mix of three body principles that constitutes our mental, physical and spiritual well-being. These three principles are known as doshas, which are further classified as Vata, Pitta, Kapha. Generally, we are of mixed constitution of two doshas such as vata-pitta, pitta-kapha, vata-kapha.
Vata dosha: Governs all the movements of the body and mind.
Pitta dosha: controls digestion, metabolism and production of energy, main function is transformation.
Kapha dosha: Governs all structure and lubrication in the body and mind.
The aim of Ayurveda is to cleanse your body of undigested food (ama), which can stay in your body and lead to various diseases in future. By the concept of Deepana and Ama pachana.
